Large scale developments will have a profound effect on the existing sewage treatment works. The existing infrastructure can barely cope, with many cited incidences throughout the country, of raw sewage entering our rivers at times of increased rainfall. The impact on our rivers and wildlife of large developments is not addressed as who will pay for it?
