Schools and childminders are already over subscribed with no sixth form provision. Doctor and dental services inadequate for a larger population.
Bus services infrequent and timings do not work for office hours therefore car use essential for most out of town jobs and services. Proposed sites are susceptible to flooding and sewerage systems are not sufficient to cope. Local job openings are limited. Town centre has its own historic character and could not be expanded also has very limited parking.
