Housing forcasts should not include for Birmingham and Black Country, this would increase traffic numbers on already congested roads travelling North to work. In addition the main rail lines from Stratford upon Avon to Birmingham have capacity restrictions due to end of line stations with no sidings or passing areas to increase capacity significantly. The single line to Leamington Spa also has restrictions.
It is also important to maintain the green belt buffer between Birmingham and Stratford for the benifit of all the residents and tourists, in Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
