The choice of "more suitable" locations seems based solely on whether land was offers in the calls for sites. All of the other criteria do not seem to matter. Excluding the call for sites criteria and there are several more suitable options that this one.
The amount of houses available from other three More suitable sites is over 23,000 against a delivery requirement of 28,000.
The plan is over a 25 year planning horizon during which time HS2 will be fully operational. There is uncertainty looking this far ahead it would be better to put the Hatton development on hold.
