a great deal of research needs to be carried out on the types of houses to built. We will be having hotter Summers and colder, wetter winters. Houses must be able to cope. New builds should have less/smaller windows, be fitted with blinds/shutters to keep out heat in the Summer, and built to stand up to heavy rain and winds. Drainage for 'estates' should be able to manage a heavy rainfall, ensuring it does not overload connected older systems and cause flooding. They should have climate friendly services to all.
