Shipston just does not have the infrastructure to support/cope with more residents, like Drs, schools etc.. And there is also the massive issue of FLOODING!!!! As Shipston is in a valley, the water that runs down off the hills/fields into the river Stour, is already at a maximum. Living in an area which is in the floodplain zone and with global warming, we have already noticed an increase in rain fall, therefore the river overflowing more often too, we would certainly be very much against any kind of house building in, around or near Shipston and/or, especially, the river.
