Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

SG19 should be given special consideration as it lies East of the River Avon and the only reasonable access to Stratford Town Centre (for train & bus stations etc.) is via a bridge built centuries ago. In recent times this bridge has contended with increased traffic from both sides of the river - particularly Wellesbourne, Mickleton & Long Marston, leading to increasing congestion and pollution. This has been subjected to scrutiny by Warwickshire Highways and our former MP promising special consideration would be given - we are still waiting.

The solution to both problems is the much-publicised bypass and two new bridges across the Avon, linking up with the A46. However, due to cost it has been booted into touch! The current situation in the town is bad enough without introducing further pressure from SG19. Until the bypass & bridges are built NO FURTHER DEVELOPMENT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED!

Tiddington village has in recent times had more homes built within its boundary than Henley-in-Arden! Furthermore, Tiddington village is much constrained by its boundaries to the West (by the river) and the south (by the Stratford golf club) and a yet-to-be-determined boundary from Knights Lane to the Alveston allotments. The only land in Tiddington remaining for development (currently fields) lies within the Knights Lane to Alveston allotments and amounts to approx 84 acres, of which approx 62 fall within SG19 - leaving only 22 acres currently protected from development. HELP! SG19 threatens the separate identity of our village, coalescence with Stratford-on-Avon must be avoided!
