I am objecting to the proposed development of over 8,000 homes on site B1 in the South Warwickshire Local Plan. Growing up in Little Shrewley, I value the countryside around Hatton for my health and wellbeing. The development would harm the Green Belt, merging Hatton villages into Warwick. The area already suffers from road congestion, and the current infrastructure cannot support the additional traffic. Furthermore, this project would destroy natural habitats and wildlife, including deer and birds of prey. I urge the planning committee to reconsider site B1 and explore alternatives with better infrastructure and environmental considerations.
