The objectives still lack any detail or explanation as to how they would be achieved or how they would be funded and are therefore little more than platitudes.

The idea that developments will not cause an increase in Carbon emissions is patently absurd unless the buildings are not going to be occupied by people who eat, breathe, travel and consume. Every additional resident will result in an increase in carbon emissions irrespective of how good the developments are.

The objectives are also completely at odds with the actual proposals to build on and destroy large swathes of the Green Belt
