The SG07 site (Wedgnock Farm) is currently Green Belt (historic deer park and woodland/agricultural), which suffers from flooding. Whilst it is close to the A46/M40 the current infrastructure would not be able to cope with the increase in traffic especially HGVs. The A46 at this point is a dual carriageway and despite improvements has recently been closed for a prolonged period due to flooding. The Birmingham Road is a minor A road which struggles to cope when there are problems on the M40.
