The vision and strategic objectives are good but please note that building on green belt land in SG06 would undermine two of the principles:
“A healthy, safe and inclusive South Warwickshire – enabling everyone to enjoy safe and healthy lifestyles...”
- SG06 offers 22m of footpaths per hectare (well above the 16m/h average for the West Midlands Green Belt). These are well-used by people from across the area and benefit both physical and mental wellbeing.
“A biodiverse and environmentally resilient South Warwickshire.”
- SG06 is high quality agricultural land, much of it Grade 2. The hedgerows and wildlife support biodiversity.
