DPD43a emphasises the protection of Local Green Spaces to improve well-being, support biodiversity, and enhance the environment. SG23, with its woodland, ponds, and grassland, already serves these functions, providing a natural area where residents enjoy nature and support their health and mental well-being. The proposed development of SG23 is completely counter to these objectives.
