I broadly support the proposals in the "Delivering South Warwickshire's Economic Needs" chapter but have concerns regarding Green Belt use and large-scale developments. While the focus on economic growth through strategic employment sites is valid, the priority should be on brownfield sites and well-connected areas, rather than further encroaching on the Green Belt. The use of Green Belt land, particularly at SG04, should be minimised, with clear justification for exceptional circumstances. Additionally, infrastructure improvements must align with development to avoid overburdening services. Finally, the plan must provide diverse business spaces for startups and SMEs to thrive.
