I partially agree with Draft Policy Direction 15 but strongly oppose any inclusion of SG04 (South of Kenilworth) for office development. SG04 does not meet the criteria for exceptional circumstances to justify Green Belt release, and its development would harm Kenilworth’s historic landscape and rural character. The town lacks the necessary infrastructure and transport links to support large-scale office expansion, leading to increased congestion and strain on services. Instead, office growth should be focused in Warwick and Leamington, where demand and transport connections are stronger. Prioritising brownfield redevelopment and refurbishing existing office space would be a more sustainable approach.
