I strongly oppose the inclusion of SG04 (South of Kenilworth) in Draft Policy Direction 12 due to its unjustified Green Belt release, infrastructure concerns, and negative impact on Kenilworth’s historic landscape.

SG04 fails to meet sustainability criteria, and exceptional circumstances for Green Belt development have not been demonstrated. Developing this site would increase traffic congestion, strain local infrastructure, and damage the town’s rural character. Employment growth should be directed towards brownfield sites and better-connected areas that do not compromise the Green Belt. SG04 should be removed from consideration to ensure sustainable and responsible economic development.
