Following assessment of the location of the proposed neighbourhood boundary, it is apparent that no part of the land is located within the limits of the land subject to the formal Safeguarding Direction for Phase One of HS2, or the limits of land to be acquired or used (LLAU) as shown on the deposited Hybrid Bill plans. Therefore, we have no further comments to make on the proposal.

Thank you for giving notice that Royal Leamington Spa Town Council has applied for designation as a Neighbourhood Area under Part 2 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.
Historic England has no objection to this proposal.
The proposed neighbourhood plan area is extremely rich in built heritage and contains a very varied range of designated and undesignated heritage assets including numerous highly graded listed buildings. Leamington Spa also hosts a very extensive designated conservation area. Due account should be taken of the conservation of all of these assets and their settings in formulating the neighbourhood plan proposals. Consideration should also be given to the protection of undesignated heritage assets including archaeological remains (both known and potential) within the Town. Many of these will be recorded in the Warwickshire County Council Historic Environment Record (HER) which should be consulted.
