This site (along with SG12/SG13) is one of the most suitable sites for housing of all. It is well supported by access to the M40 motorway junction 12 which has recently been upgraded. Housing developments alongside motorway corridors are already established in relation to the M40 as elsewhere nationally and because of the motorway the countryside here, whilst valuable, is less pristine and less ecologically important than other sites under consideration. Local facilities at Gaydon, Lighthorne Heath and Knightcote could be supported to develop to provide the community resources needed.

This area floods regularly with the 'salt road' (Knightcote Bottoms) sometimes becoming unsafe to use due to depth and speed of cross-flow. No rail access. G1 along with SG14, F2 and F3 creates a significant change to a very rural location. G1 will have significant detrimental impact to biodiversity, heritage sites & rural character. G1 is in very exposed location over looked by Burton Dassett Country Park, and all the views from it. G1 would be highly visible being in the Feldon Basin which also floods due to the basin rising/clay soil. No infrastructure, no railway, no integrated transport infrastructure. Itchington Holt Ancient woodland inhabitants will be severely impacted. G1 is practically on the boarder of Oxfordshire & Northamptonshire not close to towns & amenities.

Too close to Gaydon & Lighthorne developments. Aston & JLR developments causing severe congestion on roads. Road infrastructure around Knightcote very poor. No rail links. GP surgery now over stretched already much more difficult to get appointments. This would destroy the views & landscape around the Burton Dassett hills which is a cherished local amenity for many locals & visitors. This would also apply to the vista from Edge Hill.
