Respondent: Mr Hugh Darwen

Representation Summary:

In our comments on the Preferred Sites we express strong support for our Parish Council's objection to the large numbers of dwellings proposed for those two sites. If significantly lower numbers would not be sufficient for the overall plan, then other sites that have been rejected should be reconsidered.

In particular, we wonder why the vacant area at the bottom of Hughes Hill, between it and the Old Warwick Road has not been considered.

Respondent: Mr John Gough

Representation Summary:

Whilst we are generally in agreement with the Parish Council's objections to the proposed building of a large number of dwellings at the southern end of Shrewley we feel that if necessary a smaller development could be acceptable provided that this was in keeping with the current character of the village and that there is no further intrusion into the green belt.
