I agree more housing more waste and Warwickshire cannot cope or recycle properly now so how will they manage with extra properties producing waste?

It appears that not enough is being done to encourage traders/ schools/ clubs & sports facilities to recycle waste.
Also the council should take a positive pro-active stance to reducing packaging. If towns like Modbury can be a non plastic bag town why cannot Warwick or Kenilworth?

What about recycling waste bins in towns? We now have them in St Nicholas Park but they need to be more wide spread. What about expanding the list of recyclable material? We do not recycle margerine/yoghurt tubs. The council are setting far too low a target.

Collection of waste - green should be weekly and bin sizes reduced. Bin storage is difficult.

ALL new buildings for housing and major developments should require on site composting of green waste. This in turn requires them to have sufficient "open space" per head to allow composting bins to be sited.
Full range of products collected for recycling including all plastics/ compost-able packaging , this in turn would need investment in a suitable plant in the West Midlands to handle it.
WDC Public waste bins to have separate sections to allow recycling as widely used in Europe.
Greater action on fly tipping- make recycling centres free for ALL users- otherwise small contractors/ builders may fly tip .

21a People with working gardens and allotments are past master at waste recycling, in fact the whole composting industry grew from our example. The council should offer anyone with an allotment or garden the latest of ideas like the green cone and should be made easily available
