Representation Summary:

Warwick Gates is already huge with insufficient infrastructure - e.g. it does not have its own school - and parents are struggling to find local alternatives! Harbury Lane is already, at times a race track, and during rush hour soon clogs up with traffic. In addition, developing south of Harbury Lane, will in effect pull Bishops Tachbrook into the ever expanding Warwick/Whitnash/Leamington conurbation - destroying the rural charm and community of that village - a any individual identity it has - as is rapidy happening with Warwick, Whitnash and Lspa.

I support all the suggested options as they focus housing on areas best able to accommodate new development, without encroaching on the Green Belt.

If there are going to be 4000 new homes built in the Warwick Gates & Whitnash areas where are all these people going to work? as the building of new industruial units in the area seems to have come to a standstill. Let alone which school all the children will go to! Where are the facts that this size development needs to be built here.

No infrastructure to support these houses, lack of school spaces, encroaching on green spaces, traffic levels are already unacceptable in this area during commuting times.

Representation Summary:

The three developments of Europa Way, Woodside Farm and the land South of Harbury Lane will result in severe traffic problems.
The suggestion of using these areas has been made with benefit of a traffic survey.
Schools, bus services and health centres will be put under considerable strain.
The conurbation of Warwick/Whitnash/Leamington will be even larger and thus less pleasant.
Extra traffic will cause worse air pollution.
The use of such a large swathe of green belt goes against the council's own vision for the area.

No infrastructure to support such building, insufficient school places at present, and traffic at times is horrendous.

All planned sites are not practical - i.e. traffic congestion - more roads - schools - shops - etc. We don not need anymore. What about Heathcote Park Homes - give them some thought.

Housing allocation here would be appropriate given the better transport links on this side of the urban area

Representation Summary:

To put 4200 houses along these areas opposite Warwick Gates would put too much of a stranglehold on the area in pollution; too heavy road traffic, schools could not cope with the influx; NHS would not cope. You would cause another town between Warwick and Whitnash. In short it would be a monumental cock up.

Our rejection concerns traffic congestion in Harbury Lane, building houses on the green belt will bring more traffic which will worsen the air quality in the area.
Schools and health sercices will suffer with the increase of new residents.
No traffic impact survey has been done to determine the effect of all the extra traffic that will converge on us.

huses built at Warwick Gates meant reduced water supply to Bishops Tachbrook so if no impact research done then same will happen again.

The area of Harbury Lane / Whitnash cannot support more housng in terms of roads, schooling (which is currently not sufficient anyway) medical/policing etc. Plus section 10.36 of 50% of affordable housing will be too high. warwick gates residents are against this - a balance yes but not 50%.

Massive development on greenfield site. Harbury Lane has become a major traffic route around the south of Leamington to the Fosse Way. It is currently on the edge of development. Its route through a development would be disastrous. This would also destroy the character of Bishops Tachbrook as a village and community.

Area of restraint. Inspector report relatively recent following an enquiry. Nothing has changed. Valuable agricultural land- strong opposition from local community. Insufficient local facilities - schools, shops, health. Roads choked already from Warwick Gates residents travelling into Whitnash to schools. Local children cannot get places at local schools. Already a recent concentrations of houses at Warwick Gates. Further building in this area would put additional pressure on a community that has been adveresly affected by this high density development.

I believe this will have a detrimental effect on the quality of life for Bishops Tachbrook and the surrounding area. There has been a considerable increase in road traffic since the completion of the Warwick Gates development and it is inevitable that further housing will cause traffic to overload the existing road system and cause gridlock. Other infrastucture in the area does not have the capacity to cater for the huge increase which your housing strategy will place on stretched resources.

Representation Summary:

The extreme traffic congestion in this area does not allow for further pressure on the road system. Commuting anywhere particularly at peak times is already a major problem. Further traffic will only create more congestion and air pollution.

The present infrastructure cannot cope with the present situation i.e. health and school facilitiesm the waiting times and parking problems at Warwick Hospital are grossly overstretched.

We face onto a small woodland area which contains rare trees and lots of wildlife which should not be disturbed.
