This comment is also relevant to the previous question. (It occurred to me as I registered for the Low Carbon Agriculture Conference 2025.) “PROTECTION” must include having the right mind set in companies delivering renewable energy infrastructure. A CIC company is more likely to have that than a City-driven investor firm. Protection must include long run resilience in ownership / operation, and this includes getting the governance right. It might be necessary to assess for ex post regulation of existing structures. Unfortunately, the financing structure of existing structures may not always have been designed with long run protection in mind.
