A spread of employment and commercial premises should be provided to avoid a catastrophic collapse of one industry impacting the area too heavily.

Agree but i struggle with the wording "affordable". Business rates and rents need to have a long term reduction incentive of 5-10 years for innovative small business to launch and succeed. The sooner UK PLC have a long term view on new business and supporting of the better.

The live-work units sound like a good idea, especially if placed within the centres of the new town larger settlements presented in this plan (the 6000-10000 house areas). They could help form part of the local "town centre" for the new settlements and give communities a sense of place and purpose.

Policy guidance is needed on parking provision for live – work units. A recent appeal decision on the Crest Nicholson site at Meon Vale accepted a reduced level of parking by designating a bedroom as a home office.
There is a growing evidence of the need for affordable small business and retail units to serve the new community of Meon Vale.

The authorities should look at current occupancy rates and available premises in the area and adjacent boroughs before committing to making more space available than is required.

The policy may present limitations to achieving the desired outcomes. A wider range of allocated sites in the right place will deliver the employment floorspace needed.

yes. Emphasis needs to be placed on protecting identified existing and future employment areas from housing development and encouraging low cost affordable premises for small/start up businesses. Start up business premises need to be a variety of sizes to allow choice and potential expansion and to encourage expanding businesses to stay in the locality and not force the workforce to have to commute too far.

Only if the developments do not interfere withe the landscape and character of the area. Additionally road infrastructure should be capable of supporting the development without creating issues in local settlements. For example Wellesbourne which has numerous traffic pinch points and is close to SG15, SG16 , the Airfield and the Warwick University site.
